The 17-year-old’s current deal was due to end in 2025, but he has now signed a new contract to seal his future at the club. Gray has enjoyed a breakthrough season, making 28 first team appearances for Leeds United in all competitions. He signed his first professional contract in March last year, shortly after turning 17. Gray progressed through the academy at Leeds and was selected in a first-team Premier League squad at the age of 15. He was named on the bench for a home match against Arsenal in December 2021. The club said on its official website:
"Having become the latest player to progress from the academy to the first team, following in the footsteps of many famous names down the years, the club are delighted Gray, a boyhood Leeds United supporter, has pledged his future to the Whites."Leeds United are currently fourth in the Championship and will host Preston North End on Sunday (21st January).
