Police have launched an appeal after a dog bite incident in Pannal.
Officers are investigating a report of a male being bitten by a dog whilst working for Yorkshire Water in the Sandy Bank Woods on 12th March.
The dog is described as similar to or a Hungarian Visla. The male with the dog is described as a white male, aged 30-40, slim build and about 5’10” – 6’ 1”.
On the day the male was wearing dark trousers, green wellies and a green waxed jacket and hat. He had a second dog with him on a lead.
A police spokesperson said:
“Police are eager to identify the dog owner, if anyone has knowledge of who this male may be please contact as below.
