Grantley Hall to star in new Channel 5 series

Grantley Hall in Ripon will star in Channel 5's new series, 'Yorkshire's Poshest Hotel'.

The show will go behind the scenes at Grantley Hall and it's first episode will feature owner, Valeria Sykes.

Valeria bought the hotel in 2015 and transformed it into a five star hotel.

The four part series will uncover the makings of the hotel.

Grantley Hall shared the premiere to the first episode on their social media:

The first episode, airing on Thursday 26th March, jumps straight into the action.

The hotel's tented bistro is getting a major revamp, and the pressure is on.

Interior and Ambience Manager Marek has just three days to pull off an ambitious transformation before a huge launch party with critics and VIPs.

As if that wasn't stressful enough, disaster strikes when water starts leaking into the foundations.

Suddenly, the maintenance team has a massive problem to solve against the clock. At the same time, the team is preparing for the arrival of a global pop superstar from the United States.

This means a massive week for Guest Experience Manager Thierry and his crew.

They're busy adding the final touches to a suite and even getting Pastry Senior Sous Chef Shannon to prepare a surprise gift.

It's a week of high stakes, big personalities, and the kind of challenges that test even the most professional hospitality teams.
