Local food and drink producers are being given a valuable opportunity to showcase their products this spring, as Fodder in Harrogate announces a Yorkshire supplier open call night.
Taking place on 15th April at 5:30pm, the event will be held at Fodder at the Great Yorkshire Showground, bringing together regional producers and the Fodder buying team for an evening focused on discovering new, high-quality products from across Yorkshire and beyond.
The initiative is designed to support local businesses by offering them a direct platform to pitch their products in person.
Each selected supplier will be given ten minutes to present their range, share their story, and demonstrate what makes their offering stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Fodder, well known for championing Yorkshire produce, is particularly keen to hear from suppliers who can demonstrate strong regional provenance alongside exceptional quality and taste.
In addition, the team will be looking for products that offer clear retail margins, professional packaging and branding, and the ability to supply reliably at scale.
Producers interested in taking part are invited to apply by 7th April by emailing.
Applications should include a name, company details, contact telephone number, and a brief introduction to the business and its products.
With spaces limited, successful applicants will be notified on 9th April.
Those selected to pitch will need to come prepared with product samples, a full product list including wholesale pricing and allergen information, as well as details of any awards or certifications. Information on storage requirements, whether ambient, chilled, or frozen, will also be required.
The Open Call Night offers producers face-to-face feedback from an experienced buying team.
