Leeds United have confirmed that exciting Harrogate teenager Harry Gray has joined Rotherham United on loan.
The 17-year-old, who is the younger brother of Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Archie and great-nephew of Leeds legend Eddie, will join The Millers until the end of the season.
Harry made his Leeds United debut against Stoke City last year at the age of just 16.
He has made an impressive start to this year’s Under-21s campaign for boss Scott Gardner, netting 11 times in 13 matches across all competitions.
A Leeds United spokesperson said:
“Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Harry well during his time in South Yorkshire and we will be monitoring his progress very closely.”
The England youth international, who attended St Aidan’s CE High School, has notably impressed against EFL opposition, grabbing a brace against Accrington Stanley in the Vertu Trophy.
He also took the match ball home after a hat-trick against Scunthorpe United in the National League Cup.
The striker links up with Matt Hamshaw’s Millers who are keen to climb up the League One standings in the second half of the campaign.
