A list of the UK’s top 50 locations has been compiled by specialists from Stelrad, who have looked at social media data over the past year. The list looks at ‘winter wonderland’ spots and urban areas and has heaped praised on Harrogate, which has also been a hotspot for TikTok videos and its ‘Instagrammable’ views. Whilst Harrogate claimed top spot, Shrewsbury, in Shropshire, claimed the runner-up spot, followed by Dover in Kent. Belford in Northumberland was ranked fourth. Several clips, which have gained thousands of ‘likes’, highlight The Old Swan Hotel as being a top pick among visitors. TikTok user @sophieintheuk posted a clip of Harrogate last winter, describing it as the “prettiest town”.
