The availability of jobs per person in Harrogate has seen a further decline of 48% when contrasted with January 2023, which saw 1 vacancy per 113 people. Google searches for ‘new job’ spike in January every year, as people embrace their new year’s resolutions and look to revamp their careers. The 7th January is also recognised as one of the most popular days for people to look for a new role, with January seeing more applications than any other month.
