Harrogate salon Kingsgrove Hair and Beauty has been named a finalist in three categories at the Salon Business Awards 2026.
The King’s Road business has been shortlisted for Best Local Salon and Ultimate Salon, while director Tracy Roche is also in the running for Extensions Specialist for the second year in a row.
The Salon Business Awards, featuring 17 categories, recognise achievement and innovation across the UK hairdressing industry.
Salons entering the Best Local Salon category are required to demonstrate business growth, improvements to their premises and a positive contribution to their community.
Finalists in that category are automatically considered for the overall Ultimate Salon title.
SB Awards Founder Joanne Charlton said:
“This year’s shortlist reflects an exceptional level of creativity, technical excellence, leadership and innovation across every corner of the sector – from cutting-edge colour and textured hair specialists to customer service champions, digital innovators and sustainable salons.”
Kingsgrove Hair and Beauty was taken over by its current directors in July 2025, with investment made into refurbishing the beauty area and upgrading the wider salon.
Tracy, who specialises in hair extensions and commercial colouring, has more than 20 years’ experience and is trained in all major extension methods, including keratin bonded techniques.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at 12th Knot at Sea Containers in London on 16th March.
A spokesperson for the event added:
"With its standout riverside location and buzzy atmosphere, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of glamour, industry recognition and well-earned celebration.
"Finalists, judges, sponsors and leading names from across the sector will come together to toast excellence, innovation and resilience, as the winners are revealed and the industry comes together in true SB Awards style."
