Rotary Club of Harrogate and Knaresborough Young Farmers are taking away unwanted Christmas trees to fundraise for charity.
Harrogate Christmas tree collections to raise money for local charities Two local organisations are taking away unwanted Christmas trees whilst fundraising for charity. The Rotary Club of Harrogate are collecting trees from specific areas of Harrogate on Saturday (6th January) for a small fee. Funds raised will be donated to Horticap, which provides training in horticulture for adults with learning disabilities. Home collection is fully booked, however the group have designated drop-off points in Harrogate and Knaresborough for anyone looking to dispose of their tree. Money raised by the Young Farmers, who launched their tree collection service in 2022, will be donated to MS Society and Saint Michael’s Hospice.
