The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show will take place at Newby Hall and Gardens, near Ripon, from Friday 19 September to Sunday 21 September.
Organised by the North of England Horticultural Society, the event attracts around 30,000 visitors each year and showcases seasonal plants, competitive displays, and gardening inspiration.
Highlights in the Grand Floral Pavilion include floral exhibits from specialist societies such as the National Dahlia Society, which is staging its National Northern Show Championships with 98 competitive classes and displays from 78 growers.
In addition to floral displays, the show will include:
-
The Incredible Edible Pavilion, featuring giant vegetable competitions and national championships.
-
Live talks and demonstrations from gardening experts.
-
A new Makers Table stage, focusing on seasonal crafts, flower drying, and homecare.
-
The Country House Weekend, with floral installations inside Newby Hall, designed by floral artist Jonathan Moseley.
The event also features children’s activities and family-friendly attractions, with admission including access to Newby Hall’s gardens.
Tickets are priced at £23 in advance (available until 2 September at flowershow.org.uk) or £28 on the day.
The Harrogate Flower Shows, held in spring and autumn, are organised by the NEHS, a charity established in 1911 to promote and support horticulture in northern England.
