Hampsthwaite Players to adapt 70's sitcom for upcoming stage show Hampsthwaite Players have announced their upcoming show will be an adaption of a popular 1970’s sitcom. The show, which is being held at Memorial Hall in Hampsthwaite from 21st-23rd March, will be an adaptation of’ The Good Life’. The story follows married couple Tom and Barbara who decide to quit their day jobs to go self sufficient, and their long-suffering neighbours Margo and Jerry. The show promises “love, laughter and livestock”. A spokesperson for Hampsthwaite Players said:
“If you loved the original TV show then you're in for a treat, as you can re-discover the most heart warming quartet on TV!”Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children, and the show starts at 7.45 pm.
