Roadworks are now underway on a section of Leeds Road in Harrogate - with disruption expected for up to four weeks.
Northern Gas Networks started the essential works yesterday (4th August) near Fulwith Mill Lane.
The project is expected to continue until Friday 5th September - subject to weather conditions and operational requirements.
Two-way temporary traffic lights have been installed to allow for essential gas infrastructure upgrades.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, particularly during peak travel hours.
