Althams Travel, an independent travel agent, is taking over Unit 6 at Victoria Shopping Centre, which was previous occupied by Jessops photography shop. And Harrogate resident Mark Charnock, best known for playing Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale, will be at the launch on Saturday (6th January). Mark will be at the branch from 11am until 1pm, with visitors given the opportunity to win a holiday voucher worth up to £1,000. And Your Harrogate will be broadcasting from 10am until 2pm. Althams Travel has branches across Lancashire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. It dates back to 1874.
