The Crown Hotel in Harrogate is set to celebrate Yorkshire Day in style next week.
On Friday (1st August), the hotel will host a special community event showcasing local food, drink and culture.
A drive-through cream tea service will run from 1–4 pm, offering freshly baked scones with jam, cream, and a hot drink for £5 per person.
Guests can collect their refreshments from their car outside the hotel.
The hotel’s front car park will feature a Yorkshire-themed pop-up with:
- A Yorkshire Tea station and giveaways in the hotel lobby
- Cold Bath Brewery serving local ales and lagers
- A Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Van
- A stall from local artist Tom Wriglesworth
- A visit from the Knaresborough Town Crier
- Yorkshire flags, bunting, and traditional décor with staff in flat caps

The event is open to guests, locals, and visitors.
