Banyan Bar and Kitchen in Harrogate is set to close next month.
The venue is due to close on Saturday 3rd January, with food being served until 5pm on the final day.
The official reason has not yet been revealed, however staff were informed of the decision last week.
Located on John Street, Banyan has operated in Harrogate for around 20 years.
A spokesperson for Banyan Harrogate, said:
“We’ve loved running Banyan Harrogate and being part of the local community.
“However, as our growth strategy focuses on increasing our portfolio of prime and city-centre locations, we have been exploring interest from a number of potential buyers.
“Discussions are ongoing and while no final agreement has been made, we are confident the site will continue to play a role in Harrogate’s vibrant hospitality scene.”
Banyan is owned by Leeds-based company Arc Inspirations, which also operates Manahatta and Box.
All other Banyan venues in Yorkshire remain open and will operate as normal.
