Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision near Menwith Hill.
It happened just before 9:30am on Wednesday 13th August on the A59 at the junction with the B6451.
The incident involved two vehicles - a white Mercedes Vito van and a Ford KA.
The driver of the Ford KA was taken to hospital with minor injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The passenger of the Mercedes Vito van was checked at the scene.
A police spokesperson said:
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to impact or the collision itself, to contact us.
