A number of Alice in Wonderland-themed items have been hidden at businesses around Ripon city centre for the summer holidays.
Ripon BID’s ‘White Rabbit Hunt’ invites the city’s visitors to visit local businesses before 30th August for their chance to win a number of prizes.
Participants are invited to collect trail maps at Ripon Library, Ripon BID’s office, Specsavers, Ripon Uniform Shop and G Craggs before hunting the White Rabbit.
Entry is free and prizes have been provided by The Old Deanery, Ripon Races, The Hutts Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park and Newby Hall & Garden.
A Ripon BID spokesperson said:
“After the success of last year’s summer trail and recent Easter trail, Ripon BID and Visit Ripon are happy to announce our White Rabbit Hunt which will run throughout the summer holidays.”
To celebrate the launch of the summer trail, Ripon BID is also hosting Alice in Wonderland-themed activity sessions at Ripon’s Workhouse Museum.
They’ve teamed up with Rascals Entertainment for two activity days on both Tuesday 30th July and Tuesday 20th August between 10am - 2pm.
A Ripon BID spokesperson added:
“Enjoy games, family fun and some art activities too, all located in The Wood Shed on the grounds of The Workhouse Museum.
“Entry to both the summer trail and the activity days are FREE so make a date in your diary to come along and join in the fun!”
