6-year-old Marnie Rae from Ripon is on a mission to help her community.
Marnie Rae began litter picking after school after seeing the amount of rubbish being left in her local area.
Rather than throwing away everything she finds, Marnie are decided to use the rubbish for better use and collect the rubbish for her craft projects such as bird feeders.
She even made an octopus from a discarded paper cup.
To encourage others to pick up litter, Marnie Rae created posters to go on the bins around her school.
Because of her amazing efforts, Marnie Rae has been made a finalist in the Green Award category for BBC Radio York's Make a Difference Awards which will take place on 13th September.
