1 year missing: Harrogate family vow to never give up on lost dog It's exactly one year since white Bichon Frise Molly went missing in Harrogate - but her family have vowed to never give up the search. Molly went missing after she was spooked by another dog in Bilton on 23rd June 2022. Owner Emily Watson launched an appeal via social media to help track down the missing pet, with the Harrogate community getting behind the search. A Facebook group was launched to spread the word of Molly's disappearance - a group which has now reached more than 3,200 members. But despite posters around the area, use of a drone and several search parties, Molly is yet to be found. Owner Emily said:
"How has day 1 turned in to 365 days? One whole year of us searching for you. "This day will haunt us forever. We thought you’d just turn up found after a few hours, then that turned into days, then weeks and now one year and we’re still as heartbroken as the first day. "We will never give up looking for you our precious Molly until you’re home where you belong."[caption id="attachment_37875" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Molly went missing on 23rd June 2022 from Nidd Gorge near Bilton.[/caption]
Molly's case was upgraded to "stolen" by police in March 2023.
