The Nidderdale Show Returns! Returning on Sunday 24th September, The Nidderdale Show is back with 15,000 visitors and over 200 awards up for grabs! Here's all you need to know about one of the area's best days out! The annual Nidderdale Show is held in the picturesque surrounds of Bewerley Park, Pateley Bridge and is one of the county’s foremost agricultural shows. The Show traditionally marks the end of the agricultural show season. Nidderdale Show aims to celebrate the best of agricultural traditions with top class livestock and horse selections, and boasts one of the finest exhibitions of animals anywhere in the UK. Joe Stoney, Show Director said:
“Competitors come from far and wide to take part. Because it is at the end of the season, their animals are in prime condition. They may have entered other shows but to win at the Nidderdale Show is the sign of a true champion. We have competitors come from as far away as Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, North Wales and Lancashire.”The Nidderdale Show begins at 7.45 am with the judging of the Open Equitation class and closes at approximately 5.30 – 6.00 pm with the conclusion of the Show Jumping competitions. Over 170 different trade stands and marquees will be open from 9.00 am to around 5.30 pm.
