Police have launched an appeal for those affected by youths shooting a gel blaster gun in Boroughbridge to come forward.
It happened on Sunday (14th December) between 1:30pm and 3:40pm.
The teenagers, who were wearing black clothing, fired it at vehicles and people on the High Street, at Horsefair and at the river parking/salmon ladders.
It may have happened elsewhere in the town.
A police spokesperson said:
“The youths in question were stopped, searched and the gel blaster gun seized while our enquiries continue.
