A brand new sandwich shop has opened in Starbeck.
Mikey’s Way, owned by Michael Shaw, is offering a range of cold and hot sandwiches on Knaresborough Road.
Highlights from the menu include the Meatball Melt, featuring homemade meatballs in rich tomato sauce, layered with melted cheese and finished with basil and parmesan.
Customers can also enjoy a Sunday Roast sandwich, packed with meat or vegan chicken, parsnip mash, roasted vegetables, spiced red cabbage and gravy.

A spokesperson for the new venture said:
“There’s a new way of doing sandwiches in town and it's Mikey's way!
“With a wonderful menu of yummy sandwich fillings, hot and cold, and not just any old sandwich, pizza sandwiches, lavishly loaded fries and delicious dips.
“Each sandwich is succulent and mouthwatering.”
The shop will be open from Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12pm until 8pm, and Sunday from 12pm until 5pm.
