Matilda actress Mara Wilson has been announced as a special guest at this year's Yorkshire Comic Con.
The 36-year-old is best known for her roles in Mrs Doubtfire (1993), Miracle on 34th Street (1994) and Matilda (1996).
Mara also starred in A Simple Wish (1997) and Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000) before taking a 12-year hiatus from acting to focus on writing.
She will be making an appearance at Yorkshire Comic Con when it returns to Harrogate's Yorkshire Event Centre on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June.
Mara will join former Doctor Who actors Colin Baker, Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston, Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito, Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn and Brian Blessed.
Comic Con Yorkshire
After last year’s event was a “resounding success”, organisers Monopoly Events revealed Comic Con Yorkshire will be returning to Harrogate for a second instalment.
Comic Con Yorkshire is held for fans of pop culture, films, TV, comic books and more to get together for two days of fun.
Last year’s event allowed visitors to meet and have photographs with their favourite actors, including Monty Python star John Cleese and Lethal Weapon actor Danny Glover.
