A number of hairdressers from Knaresborough and Harrogate have helped break a Guinness World Record in Ibiza.
The Paseo de Vara de Rey in Ibiza was transformed into an outdoor hair salon on Tuesday (8th October) to allow more than 600 hair stylists to style hair at the same time.
Professionals from 37 countries visited the island for the world record attempt, whilst hundreds of volunteers also gathered to allow their hair to be styled.
After a strict judging process, Guinness World Records revealed the final number to be 478 hairdressers working simultaneously - a new record.
Among those taking part was Kelly Teggin, of Kelly Teggin Hair and Beauty in Knaresborough.
She told Your Harrogate:
“What an epic experience. Amazing work everyone, thank you all for taking part, being models, great sports and supporting the event.
“You have all been an amazing part of history!”
The final verdict was revealed at 10pm on Tuesday evening at a party at Pacha nightclub.
The event was organised by Z One Concept as part of its 25th anniversary.
