Running from Saturday 6th to Sunday 21st December, this year’s festival will feature more than 90 decorated and illuminated trees, along with a themed centrepiece titled Angels of Peace.
The event is free to enter, with programmes and raffle tickets available to buy. Donations collected during the festival will support Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Harrogate Homeless Project and Save the Children.
Opening hours vary throughout the festival:
• Saturdays: 10am–5pm
• Sundays: 12pm–4pm
• Weekdays: 12pm–5pm
Refreshments and mulled wine will be available at weekends.

A special Preview Evening will take place on Friday (5th December) from 7pm, offering an early look at the displays.
Entry costs £5 per person and includes refreshments, with music from The Songbirds.
Live performances from local choirs and music groups are scheduled on all three Saturdays of the festival.
A separate Festival Concert, titled Christmas Celebration, will be held at 7pm on Sunday 7th December and will feature St John’s Choir alongside Cadenza, Fun2Sing, the Silver Keys Clarinet Quartet and The Garklein Recorder Ensemble. Admission to the concert is payable on the door.
Visitors attending during the opening weekend will also be able to enjoy the Knaresborough Christmas Market, which includes a fireworks finale.
