Hit-and-run: Police trace Pateley Bridge drivers after CCTV appeal

CCTV appeal: Police have located two drivers who were in the area when Bailey Chadwick died.

Police have identified two drivers that were in the area on the night of a fatal hit-and-run in Pateley Bridge - but do not believe they were involved.

Officers launched a CCTV appeal this week as they looked to trace the drivers of two vehicles following the death of Bailey Chadwick on Sunday 20th July.

Both drivers have since made contact with police.

A police spokesperson said:

“There is currently no indication that the vehicles have been involved in the collision and the drivers are helping us with our enquiries.

“The investigation continues.”
