Yorkshire in Bloom judges visited Harrogate yesterday (Wednesday) ahead of this year's floral awards.
Judges were welcomed by Harrogate BID, who are hoping the town can claim top prizes at the Yorkshire in Bloom awards ceremony later this year.
They were given a tour of the town’s various floral displays as part of Harrogate BID’s Summer of Celebration.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, Harrogate BID Chair, Simon Midgley and Nick Smith, Director of the Harrogate Flower Shows, offered their insights along the judging route.
Last year, both the BID and Harrogate in Bloom claimed a number of prizes for promoting the North Yorkshire town as a floral destination.
The Harrogate Floral Summer of Celebration remains in place until Friday 8th August, with eight dazzling displays located in different locations to brighten up the town centre.
