A retired music teacher has gone viral after an impromptu saxophone performance on a late-night train to Harrogate.

Brendan Duffy was on the last train from Leeds to Harrogate last Saturday (17th February) when a hen party noticed he was carrying a saxophone. 67-year-old Brendan had played a gig and was travelling to his home in Headingley. The group convinced him to play the instrument, which started with a rendition of ‘Tequila’ by the Champs followed by the Pink Panther Theme. And the video of the performance, which was taken by passengers Emma Star and Dianne Pilkington, was posted to TikTok and has gained more than 100,000 views.
