A primary school in Harrogate is set to host a circus-themed fundraising event for the first time this spring.
Willow Tree Community Primary School, on Wetherby Road, will welcome Circus Pazaz with Usefool on Saturday 16th May, bringing a full circus tent and a series of live performances to the school grounds.
The event has been organised by the school’s PTA, which is aiming to raise funds for new equipment while also providing an inclusive and enjoyable experience for families and the wider community.

A spokesperson for the Willow Tree Community Primary PTFA said:
“We have organised a number of successful events over the years. We are very fortunate that the school embrace all our fundraising ideas!
“We wanted to bring something new and exciting to the school, so we have a Circus coming on Saturday 16th May!
“Circus PAZAZ with Usefool will be bringing their tent and presenting, what promises to be a fun filled show.”
All proceeds will go towards improving facilities and resources for pupils.
The spokesperson added:
“As a PTFA our focus is always on fundraising as much as we can for our lovely school. It is equally important to us that our events are open to all and the children and their families have fun!
“Willow Tree is a school that has a great community spirit. To reflect that, we are opening this event to those who have children starting Reception and Nursery in September and to the local community.
“All are very welcome to purchase tickets and join us at our brilliant School for our visiting circus!”

Three showtimes are scheduled for 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Early bird tickets are priced at £9 per person until 31st March, with standard tickets available at £11 until 15th May.
Tickets are available via an online booking system here.
