Father Christmas will return to Bolton Abbey this winter, with events scheduled for November and December.
This year, Father Christmas’ Village will be relocated Bolton Abbey and transformed into a bushcraft-themed winter wonderland.
Families will begin the experience with the lighting of the village fire before children take part in a series of outdoor activities under festive lights.
During the sessions, each family will be invited to meet Father Christmas inside his log cabin for photographs and conversation.
The visit concludes with children gathering to meet Father Christmas and his elf and receiving a gift.

The events are scheduled for November 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th, and each weekend in December until Christmas day.
Adults and older siblings are also welcome to attend and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Each experience lasts around 90 minutes, with events running between 9am and 5pm.
The attraction is located next to Bolton Abbey car park, with one complimentary parking ticket included per booking.
Visitors are advised to dress warmly and wear suitable footwear, as the event takes place outdoors.
The festive programme adds to Bolton Abbey’s seasonal offering, which has become a regular feature in the Skipton area’s Christmas calendar.
