The Saltergate Schools Girls football team are through to the finals of the U11s Premier League Primary Stars and the tournament takes place today.
The National Girls Football Tournament will take place in Wolverhampton.
Verity Frearson funded a new football goal posts for the school in response to their success.
Matthew Stanford from Verity Frearson was there to wave them off yesterday afternoon as they head down to Wolverhampton where they play at the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Molineux Stadium.
The Saltergate team is being supported by the Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation.
The girls received complimentary training sessions and the chance to be guest mascots at their Women’s First Team match at The Exercise Stadium.
A spokesperson for Verity Frearson said this via Facebook:
"After hearing about this fantastic achievement, we were delighted to help fund new football goal posts for the Harrogate school.
"Have a fantastic time girls - you should all be very proud"
