North Yorkshire Police have issued a warning to garage and shed owners in Harrogate.
It follows a spate of recent burglaries in the area, including one on Hampsthwaite Road which was broken into on 18th May.
Witnesses of the incident are being urged to come forward.
A police spokesperson said:
“Please be vigilant when leaving your property and at night ensuring that all sheds and garages are secure with good quality locks.”
