Police appeal after 'violent incident' involving women in Harrogate

Police have launched an appeal following an incident in Harrogate town centre.

Police are appealing for information following an "incident of violence" that occurred in Harrogate town centre.

It happened at approximately 7:50pm on Friday 16th May on the junction of Station Parade and Bower Road and involved a group young women.

Police are particularly appealing for information from witnesses to the incident and any CCTV from nearby buildings.

A police spokesperson said:
