Parody of 'Die Hard' is coming to Harrogate Theatre A critically-acclaimed parody of the classic film 'Die Hard' is coming to Harrogate Theatre in October. Taking place on Monday 2nd October, 'Yippee Ki Yay: The Die Hard Parody' will take audiences on a retelling of the classic film from award winning writer and performer Richard Marsh. Richard is a Fringe First-winner, London poetry slam champion and BBC Audio Drama Best Scripted Comedy Drama award-winner. And his "joyfully funny" parody is now heading out on tour following rave reviews of its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe. A synopsis of the show says:
"When gunmen seize an LA skyscraper, off-duty policeman John McClane is the hostages’ only hope. "This uplifting action romp (and unauthorised parody) pays affectionate tribute to the iconic 80s festive fan favourite. "Essential viewing for Hans Gruber super-fans and newcomers alike."Yippee Ki Yay: The Die Hard Parody has been branded an "epically entertaining show" and a "love letter to a masterpiece" by The Times.
