The opening date has been revealed for a new nursery and Half Term Hen School at Yolk Farm in Minskip.
Tiddlywinks children’s nursery will open its doors at Yolk Farm on 12th May, offering space for up to 75 children.
Progress photos have been shared of the new nursery, which is currently being built on the site.
It’s part of Yolk Farm’s latest initiative to inspire the next generation about the importance of food sourcing and sustainable farming practices.

Tracey Roberts, Director at Tiddlywinks, said:
“Right from the offset there has been a huge amount of interest in the nursery from local families, which is testament to the work Yolk has been doing since it was founded.
“To be able to expand our business in such a unique and hands-on educational setting really is a dream come true and we are so excited to open our doors in Spring 2025.”
Also set to be launch is Yolk Farm’s upcoming Half Term Hen School, which will offer children an educational farm experience.
It will teach children about the Yolk hens and allow them to get “hands-on”, sorting and grading the daily egg haul with Yolk’s Farmer.
The session will also include a craft activity and access to The Yard; Yolk farm’s indoor play and learn barn.

Emma Mosey, Owner at Yolk Farm, said:
"We are incredibly excited to welcome children to Tiddlywinks Nursery and the Half Term Hen School.
"Our goal is to inspire curiosity and a love for learning about food and farming, helping to shape a future generation that values sustainability and healthy living."
