The award-winning Newby Hall and Gardens is set to host an evening of open-air Shakespeare next weekend.
The event will be be held on Friday 16th August and presented authentically as Shakespeare intended - in the open air.
The show will have an all-male cast, Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men will perform Hamlet from 7-9pm on the lawn at Newby Hall.

Tickets include access to Newby’s award-winning gardens from 12 noon and ‘doors’ for the performance open at 6pm.
The show will go on regardless of the weather.
Visitors are invited to bring a picnic and rugs or folding chairs. A torch is also handy. Dogs are not allowed.
Tickets are available either from Newby’s Entrance Pavilion or online at Hamlet – Open Air Theatre – Lord Chamberlain’s Men 2024 - Newby Hall and cost £18 for adults and £10 for children (4-15 years old). Under 4s are free of charge.
