The demand on Harrogate’s power network is predicted to increase significantly between now and 2050
From Friday 2 until Thursday 8 August 2024, Royal Parade will be CLOSED from the junction of Valley Drive to The Crown Roundabout.
From Monday 12 to Friday 16 August 2024, Montpellier Road will be CLOSED from The Crown Roundabout to just before the service road for the hotel/the rear of Grosvenor Buildings and the service road/car park entrance for Royal Baths II.
The Crown roundabout will remain open, although there will be work in the footpath alongside it from Wednesday 7 until Tuesday 20 August 2024.
Sections of on-street parking will be suspended and some sections of the footpath will be closed during this period.
This is the first phase of their programme of work in your area and they will be returning in early 2025 to carry out some small-scale completion works.
It is unlikely this will require road closures.
Northern Powergrid have said they will not be turning off anyone's power and we will not need to enter any homes.
