Baltzersen's in Harrogate has reopened its doors as the new-look Bakeri Baltzersen following a major refurbishment.
The award-winning café on Oxford Street officially closed last month after more than 12 years in the town.
And yesterday (Tuesday), it reopened as the new Bakeri Baltzersen shop and cafe, with a new menu, layout and design.
The food menu has been replaced with a selection of sandwiches, bakes and salads, with a large counter also now in place to display breads and pastries made at Baltzersen's bakery production unit.
There is also an expanded food retail section, bread slicing station and 28 seats for guests.
Co-owners Paul and Katie Rawlinson said:
“The team have worked really hard to get it finished in time.
“Inevitably with any new operation, there will be some teething problems so please bear with us.”
The pair have also thanked D.R. James Decorators and SignHub for their work on the refurb.
The Bakeri Baltzersen shop in Harrogate will be open from 8am-4pm, seven days a week.
The Wetherby shop will retain its opening hours of 8am-3pm.
