More details revealed about Harrogate's Climate Action Festival

Organisers of the three week long Climate Action Festival set to take place in the Harrogate district later this year have revealed more details about some of it's major events. The festival in October is being organised by the Harrogate District Climate Change Coalition, to coincide with the global UN climate summit COP 26, being held in the UK the following month. The aims of the festival are to showcase the climate action already going on in the district’s schools, workplaces and community groups, as well as teach everyone what other climate solutions we can take now. We now know the festival will include a special event for local residents and communities at Harrogate College on Saturday 2nd October. This will include demonstrations, discussion & fun focus on skills and technologies that help us to take climate action action and see “what does the future look like?” Meanwhile on Friday 15th October, the focus will be on local businesses, with a conference at the Harrogate Convention Centre. The aim of this event will be to help support businesses wanting to reduce their carbon emissions.
