Crimple on Leeds Road welcomed the popular defender for a breakfast sandwich before he made the switch to Championship rivals Middlesborough on loan. The 32-year-old completed the move on Wednesday (10th January). Crimple said on social media:
“Delighted to welcome Luke Ayling to Crimple yesterday (Tuesday). He’d popped in for our all day breakfast sandwich! “He might not be in for a while now as he's off to pastures new... but you’re always welcome here Luke.”Luke Ayling joined Leeds United in 2016 from Bristol City.
