Knaresborough's 'Party in the Castle' screening of Glastonbury is back tomorrow (Saturday).
The popular event, which is free to attend, was in danger of cancellation after funding was cut by North Yorkshire Council.
However, after a successful fundraising campaign raised £5,000, the annual party will go ahead from 5pm until 11pm.
Visitors are invited to the grounds of Knaresborough Castle for a screening of Glastonbury, with people often bringing their own chairs and picnic blankets for a festival atmosphere.
Live footage will be streamed on the big screen from 5pm until 11pm.
A spokesperson for Knaresborough Chamber said:
“Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, fun, and community spirit in the beautiful Castle Yard!
“It’s free entry — bring your own picnic and enjoy the vibe!”
