Knaresborough's annual tug-of-war tradition is set to make a return on Boxing Day.
The tradition, which began in 1968, sees teams from the Half Moon Free House and Mother Shipton Inn compete in a tug-of-war contest across the River Nidd.
It usually attracts around 1,000 spectators whilst raising money for local charities.
It's expected to start at 12pm.
