A Knaresborough primary school has raised a whopping £6,500 as part of its annual Colour Fest event.
Aspin Park Academy held its annual Colour Fest on Friday (11th July), organised by the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
The event raised £6,500, which will be used to support the school and fund educational resources.
The afternoon included a colour run, inflatable obstacle course, live music, stalls, and food and drink.

Colour Fest was open to pupils, families, and members of the local community.
Headteacher Emma Meadus said:
“We’re so grateful to our incredible PTA and wider school community for making Colour Fest such a memorable event.
“The support from families, staff and volunteers has been amazing.”
Funds raised at previous events have contributed to items such as playground markings, library books, and classroom supplies.
Plans are already in motion for next year’s event, with the PTA hoping to build on this year’s success and continue making a lasting impact for the children of Aspin Park Academy.
