Organisers of Knaresborough's Christmas Market said they are "unable to confirm" a new date after a yellow weather warning forced them to postpone this weekend's event.
The market was due to take place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, however the Met Office has forecasted winds of more than 50mph as part of Storm Darragh.
Knaresborough Town Council said it had made the "difficult decision" to postpone due to safety concerns.
And although the council initially pinpointed 14th and 15th December as a new date, it's since said that it's working to address various issues that come with securing a new date.
A spokesperson said:
"We are working hard to provide an alternative date, but we are unable to confirm anything until we have addressed the licensing and other logistical issues."
The council is expected to give an update today (Friday).
