The Melmerby Ripon 10km road race is set to return this spring.
The event will take place on Sunday 3rd May 2026 in the village of Melmerby, near Ripon.
Organised by Wath & Melmerby Cricket Club, the 10km course follows a single-lap, undulating route through the surrounding countryside and nearby villages before finishing back in Melmerby.
Organisers say the route offers a balance of 'challenge and speed', with many runners achieving personal best times.
Hundreds of runners are expected to take part this year, with entries available in advance only and no registration on the day.

As part of the 2026 event, organisers have confirmed support for the Charlie Dallas Lancaster Foundation, a local mental health charity, with donations and collections planned on race day.
Facilities including parking, refreshments and changing will be available at the race headquarters at Melmerby & Middleton Quernhow Village Hall, with the race starting at 10:30am.
