A unique jacket potato takeaway in Knaresborough is facing closure, its owner has revealed.
Str8 Jackets opened on Knaresborough’s High Street in December, offering jacket potatoes complete with a range of toppings, sandwiches and salads.
However the business is due to close this week due to a decrease in footfall.
In an appeal on social media, Owner Emma Eastwood said:
“I'm fighting to keep going. I can only do this with your support - and we have had immense support - is there anything else we can give?
“Obviously [we have] our amazing spuds and sandwiches, we have salads… Is there anything else, please let us know?
“We don't want to go. There will be a shop phone for you to place and pay for your orders and if we can, we will bring them out to you.”
Str8 Jackets offers a range of toppings including its bestselling warm pulled pork and honey chilli chicken.

Customers can also choose coleslaw, cheese, chilli, beans, tuna mayo or coronation chicken.
The takeaway has a 5-star food hygiene rating and is open daily from 11am until 4:30pm.
Customers can visit Str8 Jackets on Knaresborough's High Street or order over the phone by calling 07496687621.
