New data has revealed over 1.6million people visited Harrogate in October.
The latest statistics have been revealed by Harrogate BID, who are working in partnership with data experts at HUQ.
During the month of October, visitors travelled from all over the country, including Southend-on-Sea, Poole and Altrincham.
And Harrogate’s ‘hotspots’ have been revealed as Oxford Street, Albert Street and Parliament Street.
The highest footfall came on Thursday 17th October, when Harrogate welcomed 99,000 visitors.
The lowest came on 1st October, when 21,500 people visited.
Figures are collected based on mobile phone data, which tracks unique visitors once per visit to Harrogate each day.
A Harrogate BID spokesperson said:
“The figures allow us to see different data sets from our town, including footfall totals, Harrogate's 'hotspots', where people have travelled from and how long they spend in the BID area.
“If you have any questions, or would like to see a specific data set, please email us on info@harrogatebid.co.uk.”
