The Crown Hotel is inviting diners to sample the selection of finger sandwiches, scones and desserts. It will be available from Monday 16th October. A spokesperson for The Crown Hotel said:
"We believe Afternoon Tea should be an absolute indulgence so our team take the utmost care to make every detail, every sip and every moment as special as it could possibly be. "The custom of taking Afternoon Tea is one of England's most charming rituals, and has long been regarded as a lovely gesture of gracious hospitality, and as one of life's most elegant and enduring pleasures."Dishes include Cheshire Cat macarons, Queen of Hearts cupcakes and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The afternoon tea will be served with a choice of tea or coffee, or can be upgraded to a glass of prosecco. Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea at The Crown Hotel is charged at £24 per head.
