A global company based at Hornbeam Park has donated more than £7,000 to Saint Michael's Hospice through an international charitable scheme.
Avery Dennison, a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions, awarded the hospice £7,330 via the Avery Dennison Foundation's "Granting Wishes" programme.
Caroline Nielsen, Assistant Operations Team Lead at Avery Dennison Harrogate, visited the hospice to present the donation and tour the facility.
The team first connected with Saint Michael's Hospice last summer when they helped brand charity t-shirts for corporate teams taking part in the hospice's midnight walk fundraiser.
Following that collaboration, Caroline applied for the grant on the hospice's behalf.
She said:
"I chose the charity because I felt it was such a worthy cause and I wanted to help the lives of patients and families at such a difficult time.
"I was so pleased to find out that we had secured the donation.”
