Gemma and her friends Sarah, Catherine and Lyndsey won VIP tickets with helicopter arrival to Ladies Evening at Wetherby Races. The group, who met during their school days at St Aidan's, said they were "nervous" before the flight but enjoyed seeing the beautiful Harrogate district from above. Gemma told Your Harrogate:
"It was amazing. Some of us have never been in a helicopter before but it was really good, we loved it! "It was surprisingly smooth! I was very nervous but it was beautiful. We saw all the traffic below, the school run... It's the only way to travel from now on!"The Your Harrogate competition was made possible thanks to Wetherby Races and Helijet Aviation.
